In Thursday's league contest, the Pee Dee Academy Eagles (Mullins, SC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting King's Academy Lions (Florence, SC), by a margin of 16-1.
With the triumph, Pee Dee Academy moves its record to 10-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Carolina Academy (Lake City, SC) to play the Bobcats in a SCISA AA Region II contest on Friday, March 11. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 0-4. Carolina Academy lost 4-0 in their recent non-league contest against West Florence (Florence, SC)
In their next game, the Lions play the Christian Academy Saints (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a SCISA A Region II contest, on Friday, March 25. King's Academy will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
