The crowd at Thursday's league match between the West Point Warriors (Cullman, AL) and the visiting Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL), saw West Point's softball squad nip Lawrence County by a count of 6-5.
The Warriors now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Jasper for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 15.
With the loss, Lawrence County falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Curry (Jasper, AL) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Friday, March 11. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 8-3. Curry lost 8-4 in their recent non-league match against Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL)
