The Model Blue Devils baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Armuchee Indians to 2 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Friday.
The Blue Devils (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Coosa (Rome, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Coosa was overwhelmed by Trion (Trion, GA), 12-7, in a league match.
The Indians (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Darlington (Rome, GA). The Tigers go into the 1A D-I Area 7 match with a 5-8 record. In their last match, Darlington was overwhelmed by Pepperell (Lindale, GA), 8-6, in a league match.
