The North Central Knights crushed the visiting Chesterfield Golden Rams baseball team by a count of 14-5 in Friday's league bout.
The Knights now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Andrew Jackson for a 2A Region 5 bout on Tuesday, March 21.
Next, the Golden Rams face the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 11. Chesterfield will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 14-2 non-league loss to Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC).
