Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX) and the visiting Rowlett Eagles (Rowlett, TX), saw Lamar's baseball squad beat Rowlett by a margin of 12-1.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Trinity Trojans (Euless, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 10. Lamar will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Sam Houston (Arlington, TX).
