The Northwest Rankin Cougars baseball team (Brandon, MS), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Friday's league outing with the host Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS)
The Vikings now hold a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brandon for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 11. Warren Central will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-0 league win over Meridian (Meridian, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-3.
Next, the Cougars confront the D'Iberville Warriors (D'Iberville, MS) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 13. Northwest Rankin will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Long Beach (Long Beach, MS).
