In Friday's non-league challenge, the Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA) baseball squad edged the visiting Pelham Hornets (Pelham, GA), by a final score of 9-8.
With the win, Seminole County upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Indians travel to Carroll (Ozark, AL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Carroll lost 10-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL)
With the defeat, Pelham falls to 6-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Bacon County (Alma, GA) to battle the Raiders in a 1A D-I Area 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 4-7.
