In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Nome-Beltz Nanooks basketball team scored a tight 33-30 triumph over the Kotzebue Huskies.
In their next game, the Nanooks face the Bethel Warriors (Bethel, AK) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 11. Nome-Beltz will attempt to move on its 13-11 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 12-7 record after their 57-39 non-league loss to Barrow (Utqiagvik, AK).
With the defeat, Kotzebue moves to 7-16 on the year.
