Next, the Panthers confront the Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 16 challenge, on Monday, March 13. Kingwood Park will attempt to better on its 17-1 season record. The Broncos enter the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 2-0 league win over Huntsville (Huntsville, TX).

The Panthers now have a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Nacogdoches for a 5A Region 2 District 16 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Lufkin will confront a Dragons team coming off a 2-1 league win over Porter (Porter, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 13-5.
