Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX), 4-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 8 challenge, on Monday, March 13. Centennial will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 18-2 record after their 6-1 league win over Burleson (Burleson, TX).

The Owls now have a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Midlothian Heritage for a 5A Region 1 District 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Joshua will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cleburne (Cleburne, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-6.
