Texas High School Softball - Westlake gets by Anderson

The Westlake Chaparrals got by the visiting Anderson Trojans softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Friday's league battle.

The Chaparrals (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Tigers go into the 6A Region IV District 26 battle with a 19-4 record. In their last battle, Dripping Springs nudged Akins (Austin, TX), 10-0, in a league battle.

The Trojans now sport a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Lake Travis for a 6A Region IV District 26 battle on Monday, March 13. Anderson will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Del Valle (Del Valle, TX). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-12.
