The crowd at Friday's league match between the Bremond Tigers (Bremond, TX) and the visiting Granger Lions (Granger, TX), saw Bremond's softball squad nip Granger by a count of 11-7.

The Tigers now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thrall for a 2A Region IV District 27 match on Saturday, March 11. Bremond will face a Tigers squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Holland (Holland, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Granger falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Thorndale (Thorndale, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 2A Region IV District 27 match on Saturday, March 11. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 5-3. Thorndale won 8-3 in their recent non-league match against Needville (Needville, TX)
