The East Forsyth Eagles nipped the visiting Davie War Eagles softball squad by a final score of 6-5 in Friday's league battle.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans go into the Central Piedmont 4A battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Mount Tabor held off R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC), 22-3, in a league battle.

The War Eagles now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Reagan for a Central Piedmont 4A battle on Tuesday, March 14. Davie will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
