In Friday's non-league contest, the D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Sabinal Yellowjackets (Sabinal, TX), by a margin of 14-3.

With the triumph, D'Hanis moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Cowboys host Dilley (Dilley, TX) to play the Wolves in a non-league contest on Monday, March 13. The Wolves come into the contest with a record of 7-6.
