Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Rangers now sport a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wakeland for a 5A Region II District 9 challenge on Monday, March 13. Lone Star will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 18-1 league win over Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Frisco falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Raccoons travel to Creekview (Carrollton, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge on Wednesday, March 15. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 5-9. Creekview lost 19-6 in their recent league challenge against The Colony (The Colony, TX)
