In Friday's league outing, the visiting Shepherd Pirates softball team scored a close 4-2 win over the Onalaska Wildcats.
Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans (Coldspring, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 outing, on Tuesday, March 21. Shepherd will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 7-7 record after their 15-0 league win over Crockett (Crockett, TX).
