The Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) softball routed the host Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), 20-4 in Friday's league bout.

The Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Enka (Enka, NC). The Jets go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Murphy for a non-league bout on Monday, March 13. Smoky Mountain will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
