The Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX) softball routed the visiting Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX), 15-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Bearcats (15-4) will now prepare for their bout against Boyd (Boyd, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 3A Region II District 10 bout with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Boyd toppled Ponder (Ponder, TX), 16-0, in a league bout.
The Lions now possess a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Callisburg for a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Monday, March 13. Ponder will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.
