The Three Rivers Bulldogs softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Port Aransas Marlins to 3 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Three Rivers improves its record to 18-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Pettus (Pettus, TX) to clash with the War Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 14. The War Eagles come into the game with a record of 1-8. Pettus lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX)

In their next game, the Marlins clash with the Woodsboro Eagles (Woodsboro, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 31 game, on Monday, March 13. Port Aransas will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 14-4 league win over Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX).
