The Union Parish Farmers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Bastrop Rams to 8 in the Farmers non-league win on Monday.
The Farmers now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Caddo for a 2A District 1 test on Thursday, March 13. Union Parish will clash with a Titans team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Haynesville (Haynesville, LA). The Titans record now stands at 4-9.
With the defeat, Bastrop drops to 0-3 on the year. The Rams host Wossman (Monroe, LA) to clash with the Wildcats in a 4A District 2 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-0.
