The Pioneers now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westside for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 13. Batesville will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Trumann (Trumann, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Walnut Ridge drops to 3-2 on the year. The Bobcats host Manila (Manila, AR) to clash with the Lions in a 3A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Manila won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR)
