In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Covenant Christian Academy Lions baseball team scored a nice 14-1 win over the Central Lafourche Trojans.
The Lions (16-0) will now prepare for their game against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 13-6 record. In their last game, East Ascension knocked off Franklinton (Franklinton, LA), 11-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Trojans play the Hanson Memorial Tigers (Franklin, LA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 12. Central Lafourche will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 6-7 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to South Lafourche (Galliano, LA).
