The Coronado Islanders baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Steele Canyon Cougars to 1 in the Islanders non-league win on Monday.

The Islanders now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host La Jolla Country Day for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. Coronado will play a Torreys team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Madison (San Diego, CA). The Torreys record now stands at 3-1.
