The Depew Hornets baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Oilton Panthers to 8 in the Hornets non-league win on Monday.

The Hornets now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wetumka for a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. Depew will clash with a Chieftains team coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Weleetka (Weleetka, OK). The Chieftains record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Oilton drops to 3-5 on the year. The Panthers host Olive (Drumright, OK) to clash with the Wildcats in a Freelance test on Monday, March 10. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-5. Olive lost 11-3 in their recent non-league test against New Lima (New Lima, OK)
