The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) and the host El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA), saw Santana's baseball team gain a win over El Capitan by a tally of 18-6.

The Sultans (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Cougars enter the challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Steele Canyon gained a win over El Capitan (Lakeside, CA), 17-3, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, El Capitan drops to 0-3 on the year. The Vaqueros travel to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to clash with the Foothillers in a challenge on Saturday, March 15. The Foothillers go into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
