The Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) baseball trounced the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 8-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Palisades for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Myers Park will clash with a Pumas team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Hough drops to 2-2 on the year. The Huskies travel to Providence (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 12. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Providence won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC)
