The Middletown Mustangs softball team scored 27 runs and held the host Willits Wolverines to 17 in the Mustangs non-league win on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ukiah for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 18. Middletown will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 17-4 non-league loss to Windsor (Windsor, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Willits moves to 2-1 on the season. The Wolverines host Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 11. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 1-1. Cloverdale won 18-9 in their recent non-league battle against Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA)
