New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs (Bryan, TX), 18-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, New Waverly improves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Trinity (Trinity, TX) to play the Tigers in a 3A Region III District 23 game on Tuesday, March 18. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 3-4.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Thrall for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 18.
