With the triumph, Gibbs upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Karns (Knoxville, TN) to play the Beavers in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 11. The Beavers enter the game with a record of 3-0. Karns won 13-3 in their recent non-league game against Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN)

The Trojans now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Jefferson County for a 4A District 2 game on Thursday, March 13. Morristown-Hamblen West will play a Patriots squad coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Grainger (Rutledge, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 3-2.
