Texas High School Softball - Valley View bounces Grulla

The Valley View Tigers softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Grulla Gators to 3 in the Tigers league win on Monday.

The Tigers now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlingen for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 12. Valley View will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Grulla moves to 0-7 on the season. The Gators host Hidalgo (Hidalgo, TX) to confront the Pirates in a 4A Region IV District 32 battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 0-5.
