The Saraland Spartans softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Murphy Panthers to 0 in the Spartans league win on Monday.

The Spartans now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Murphy for a 6A Area 1 battle on Monday, March 10. Saraland will confront a Panthers team coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to UMS-Wright Prep (Mobile, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
