In Monday's non-league test, the Sumrall Bobcats (Sumrall, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the host Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS), by a tally of 8-2.

Next, the Bobcats clash with the South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 11. Sumrall will attempt to advance on its 12-2 season record. The Braves go into the test with a 5-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Mize (Mize, MS).

The Maroon Tide (7-6) will now prepare for their test against New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, New Hope was routed by Enterprise (Enterprise, MS), 13-2, in a non-league test.
