The South Jones Braves triumphed over the host West Jones Mustangs softball squad by a count of 18-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Braves play the Sumrall Bobcats (Sumrall, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 11. South Jones will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Picayune (Picayune, MS).
The Mustangs (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Northeast Jones was routed by Stringer (Stringer, MS), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
