Florida High School Baseball - King held off by Brandon

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Brandon Eagles (Brandon, FL) and the visiting King Lions (Tampa, FL), saw Brandon's baseball team gain a win over King by a tally of 7-5.

The Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Bloomingdale (Valrico, FL). The Bulls enter the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Bloomingdale got by Durant (Plant City, FL), 2-1, in a league contest.

The Lions now possess a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lennard for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 12. King will confront a Longhorns squad coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to East Bay (Gibsonton, FL). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-6.
