In Tuesday's league bout, the Jasper Pirates (Jasper, AR) baseball squad trounced the visiting Deer Antlers (Deer, AR), by a count of 15-0.
The Pirates now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Norfork for a 1A Region 2 challenge on Friday, March 13.
With the defeat, Deer falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Antlers travel to Omaha (Omaha, AR) to face the Eagles in a 1A Region 1 contest on Monday, March 16. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
