South Carolina High School Baseball - Mauldin held off by Hillcrest

The Mauldin Mavericks baseball squad (Mauldin, SC), 2-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC)

With the triumph, Hillcrest upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Rams host Daniel (Central, SC) to face the Lions in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 11. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 4-1. Daniel lost 10-4 in their recent non-league battle against Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC)

Next, the Mavericks face the Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) in a 5A Region 1 battle, on Friday, March 13. Mauldin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 6-0 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Daniel (Central, SC).
