Georgia High School Soccer - Atkinson County knocks off Irwin County

In Tuesday's league outing, the host Atkinson County Rebels soccer squad scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Irwin County Indians.
The Rebels (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Lanier County was overwhelmed by Brooks County (Quitman, GA), 10-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Indians confront the Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA) in a 1A D-II Area 2 test, on Thursday, March 12. Irwin County will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Turner County (Ashburn, GA).
