The Chester Cyclones softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Central Eagles to 6 in the Cyclones non-league win on Tuesday.

The Cyclones now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Mill for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 11. Chester will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to York (York, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Central moves to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles host Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC) to confront the Volunteers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 13. The Volunteers go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Andrew Jackson won 18-2 in their recent non-league challenge against South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC)
