Florida High School Softball - Weeki Wachee bested by Central

The Central Bears triumphed over the visiting Weeki Wachee Hornets softball squad by a count of 15-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL) in a 4A District 9 challenge, on Thursday, March 12. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Sunlake (Land O' Lakes, FL).

With the loss, Weeki Wachee moves to 1-6 on the season. The Hornets travel to West Port (Ocala, FL) to confront the Wolf Pack in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 12. The Wolf Pack come into the battle with a record of 7-2. West Port won 20-1 in their recent non-league battle against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL)
