The Jones County Greyhounds the visiting Veterans Warhawks baseball squad by a final score of 9-5 in Thursday's non-league test.

With the win, Jones County upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Union Grove (McDonough, GA) to battle the Wolverines in a AAAAA Region 4 test on Friday, March 12. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 5-3. Union Grove lost 6-1 in their recent league outing against Jones County (Gray, GA)

Next, the Warhawks face the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans (Macon, GA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 13. Veterans will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 4-1 record after their 11-2 league win over First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA).
