American Christian Academy Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host West Blocton Tigers (West Blocton, AL), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moody for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 13.

With the loss, West Blocton falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bibb County (Centreville, AL) to battle the Choctaws in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 12. The Choctaws enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
