The Northwest Whitfield Bruins baseball team (Tunnel Hill, GA), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Dalton Catamounts (Dalton, GA)

The Catamounts now hold a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas County for a AAAAAA Region 5 outing on Monday, March 14. Dalton will confront a Tigers team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-3.

Next, the Bruins confront the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 outing, on Tuesday, March 15. Northwest Whitfield will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Dragons go into the outing with a 7-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Central (Carrollton, GA).
