The Henderson Lions baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting West Rusk Raiders to 7 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
The Lions (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Center (Center, TX). The Roughriders go into the non-league match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Center was edged by Godley (Godley, TX), 11-1, in a non-league match.
The Raiders (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Waskom (Waskom, TX). The Wildcats go into the 3A Region II District 16 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Waskom edged Jefferson (Jefferson, TX), 9-1, in a league match.
