The Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors nudged the host Rome Wolves baseball team by a tally of 8-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league bout on Monday, March 14. Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will face a Generals team coming off a 13-3 league win over Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Generals record now stands at 8-3.
Next, the Wolves face the East Paulding Raiders (Dallas, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 bout, on Monday, March 14. Rome will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 5-8 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Woodland (Cartersville, GA).
