The Liberty Ranch Hawks baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Union Mine Diamondbacks to 1 in the Hawks league victory on Friday.
The Hawks (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA). The The Pride go into the Sierra Valley Conference match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Bradshaw Christian was overwhelmed by Galt (Galt, CA), 7-3, in a league match.
The Diamondbacks (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Golden Sierra was overwhelmed by Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA), 4-3, in a non-league match.
