California High School Volleyball - King's Academy over Santa Clara

March 11, 2022: Santa Clara, CA 95051

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA) and the host Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA), saw King's Academy's volleyball squad beat Santa Clara by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, King's Academy upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA) to play the Firebirds in a SCVAL - El Camino bout on Wednesday, March 16. The Firebirds go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Fremont won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against San Jose (San Jose, CA)

The Bruins now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Palo Alto for a SCVAL - El Camino bout on Wednesday, March 16. Santa Clara will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
