In Friday's league battle, the host Grayson Rams soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the South Gwinnett Comets.
The Rams (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Panthers come into the AAAAAAA Region 4 battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Parkview nudged Hilton Head (Hilton Head Island, SC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Comets (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Newton (Covington, GA). The Rams come into the AAAAAAA Region 4 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Newton was nudged by Brookwood (Snellville, GA), 10-0, in a league battle.
