In Friday's league game, the visiting Harnett Central Trojans baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Western Harnett Eagles.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their game against West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 1-4 record.
The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans go into the game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Pine Forest tipped South View (Hope Mills, NC), 8-2, in a non-league game.
