The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) and the host North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), saw Ashley's lacrosse team top North Brunswick by a margin of 17-1.

The Screaming Eagle (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars enter the Mideastern challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, South Brunswick was overwhelmed by Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 14-1, in a league challenge.

The Scorpions (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers enter the Mideastern challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Laney was overwhelmed by Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 17-1, in a league challenge.
