In Friday's league contest, the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Galena Park Yellowjackets (Galena Park, TX), by a margin of 15-0.
With the triumph, Barbers Hill moves its record to 15-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX) to play the Titans in a 5A Region III District 21 contest on Monday, March 14. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 1-12.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets play the Milby Buffs (Houston, TX) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 14. Galena Park will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record.
